Jacqueline Louise was created by Kirsty in 2020 and named after her mother, with whom she shares a strong and meaningful relationship. Kirsty, having run her own bridal boutique, recognised a gap in the market for a bridesmaid brand that appealed to all ages, shapes, and sizes. While bridesmaid shopping, it was clear that finding a dress to suit everyone was a challenge. This sparked the idea for the multiway dress. Kirsty wanted to create a versatile bridesmaid dress that each girl could wear in a style that made her feel comfortable, offering a wide range of colours.
With a one-size-fits-all design, the dress eliminates the worry of costly alterations and reduces the pressure on both the bride and bridesmaids to maintain their size leading up to the big day. Starting with three colours in a jersey fabric, Kirsty officially launched Jacqueline Louise, marking the beginning of her vision to create versatile, inclusive bridesmaid dresses.
Jacqueline Louise has experienced rapid growth over the last four years and continues to expand and adapt its offerings to meet the evolving needs of brides and bridesmaids. Kirsty continues to be the driving force behind the business, excited to further redefine the bridesmaid industry by offering affordable luxury for every bride and her bridal party.
Jacqueline Louise is committed to reducing its carbon footprint, prioritising sustainability in every step of the process. Rather than mass-producing, they make each dress to order, believing in the importance of creating pieces that extend beyond the wedding day wardrobe. The brand is dedicated to sourcing recycled packaging and recycling waste wherever possible.
